Quality Koi is born

Platinum Koi, the interim vehicle for the empowerment of the community of Boesmansrivier, finally closed its doors when the farm was finally transferred to the beneficiaries in August 2009. The farm now belongs to Boesmansrivier Plaas (Pty) Ltd which is owned by the original workers of the fish farm

Quality Koi will continue with the legacy of the original farm that was started in 1993 and the present owners with each more than 15 years experience of koi farming is determined to put the farm back in its rightful place as the only producer of the high quality koi in South Africa.

Since the farm was destocked during the winter of 2007, the farm has been subjected to rigorous testing and screening for disease, and the independent opinion holds that the farm is KHV free. The process of regular screening under official supervision continues.

Our new website www.qualtykoi.co.za is not yet fully functional, but you are welcome to call should you need koi for you business or for you pleasure, or just browse both sites in the interim for the love of koi.
